A Thousand Worlds of Harry Potter and the Curse of Slytherin

Chapter 13

After a few consecutive rains, the temperature gradually dropped. Harry and the others needed to put on a thin sweater under their school uniforms.

Several students had already started to cough due to the change in weather. Madam Pomfrey's anti-cold medicine was in short supply. Ferch had also started to add a thick straw mat to the roof of Owls' hut.

Haig gave Harry a note during breakfast. It was a note from Haig asking them to come over after the Conservation and Magical Biology class in the afternoon. "By the way, I have something to tell you."

During this time, the wounds on Haig's face had almost healed. He still refused to tell them what he did during the summer vacation. But every time he came out of the Forbidden Forest, Harry and the others would always find some new wounds on his body. But no matter how they asked, he refused to tell them.

Harry sometimes could not help but wonder if he was hiding a dragon or something in the Forbidden Forest. With Haig's personality, this was very likely.

He showed the note to Ron and Hermione, and they both had an "I knew it" look on their faces.

To be honest, they were happy to stay with Haig, but they were not too happy that Haig was always introducing some scary monster friends to them.

But what could they do? If they did not go, Haig would be sad.

Sure enough, after sitting down and drinking some tea, Haig said hesitantly that he wanted to introduce a friend to them.

Harry, Ron, and Hermione exchanged a look.

"I didn't want to tell you …" Haig covered his unshaven face with his fan-like palm. "But I thought … if … he had a few more friends, maybe he wouldn't be so … Oh, poor little Grup … He's so lonely!" As he spoke, he actually sobbed.

"Oh, Haig …" Ron seemed to be at a loss. Hermione gently put her hand on Haig's arm and handed him a towel.

"Thank … thank you."

Sobbing, Haig took the towel, which was not much smaller than the tablecloth, and buried her face in it. She sniffed hard and made a sound like blowing a horn.

He raised his head with red and swollen eyes and looked at them with watery eyes. "Then, are you … are you willing to come with me to see him?

You can … talk to him or something. "

Facing Hagrid, what could they say to reject him?

Moreover, in the past few days, they had already vaguely prepared themselves mentally.

"Grup," Harry thought. That seemed to be the dragon's name.

Perhaps they could persuade Haig to send it to Norbeta. The dragon that was hatched by Haig when Harry was in her first grade (Haig named it Norber) was now in Romania, and Charlie had confirmed that it was a female dragon. This Grup would make a perfect pair with "her."

As soon as they walked into the Forbidden Forest, Harry felt chilly. The temperature here seemed to be one or two degrees lower than outside. Haig led them left and right, and gradually they came to the depths of the Forbidden Forest.

Harry looked out. The path they took was blocked by trees as far as the eye could see. She could no longer see the castle and Haig's hut.

"There's always something strange going on here recently," Haig muttered. They had just walked around a delirious hippogriff that looked like it was drunk. It staggered back and forth in the woods with half of its wings spread, stopping from time to time to shake its head. "If you ask me, there must be a new drunken flower growing somewhere. This thing just can't be removed."

Haig's strides were very long, and Harry and the others stumbled behind him.

"Haig, how far are we?" Hermione asked with a frown.

"Oh, soon, just ahead," Haig turned back and said loudly.

"Haig …" Harry suddenly heard a clear sound of footsteps coming from the left.

Haig also heard it. He vigilantly held the giant wooden bow in his hand and walked towards the bushes where the sound came from.

"Who's there?"

"Are you going to greet me with a bow and arrow, Haig?" A sad voice sounded, and a figure appeared from behind the bushes.

His upper body was that of a handsome man, and his lower body was perfectly combined with the white body of a horse. He walked out and stood in front of them.

"Hi, Firenze." They greeted him.

They had seen this Centaur before. He had saved Harry's life in the Forbidden Forest five years ago.

"Hello," he replied in a low voice. "Students shouldn't be here."

"Uh... I know," Haig was a little embarrassed. "I just brought them here to have a look. Well... I'll take them out right away.

Actually... it's not dangerous. I'm here. "

"Lately," continued the centaur, "there has been a change in the course of the stars.

The Forbidden Forest is not very peaceful. "

"Ah, yes.

Did you see where that thing is growing?

I have to cut it down quickly — that drunken flower. "

Firenze did not respond. He looked up at the sky for a while and finally said, "Mars is very bright."

"Okay, okay," Haig said impatiently. "Then we'll go first, if you don't have anything else to say."

"Okay, goodbye.

By the way, a word of advice, "Firenze said sadly." Your efforts will eventually be in vain. That thing won't work. "

"Thank you very much," Haig replied angrily.

They walked away, and Harry caught up with Haig in a few steps.

"Haig?

I remember Firenze also said in the first grade that Mars was very bright or something.

Could it be... "

"Yes, the Centaur always said that. They don't care about anything except the stars in the sky.

Divination... Merlin's pants... "Haig shook his head and did not want to comment more." The Forbidden Forest is so big. The Centaur only knows about the area where they live.

Even the Hogwarts decided to build a school here because the masters first discovered the dense forest and the many magical creatures in it. In such an ancient place, anything is possible. "

"Really?" Harry was very interested. "I never knew!"

"Oh, yes," Hermione replied. "I read in 'Hogwarts, a history of the school' that Ravenclaw dreamed that a warthog took her to a cliff by a lake. Behind the lake was an endless forest. After waking up, she found this place and built the Hogwarts with the other three founders."

Haig smiled appreciatively at Hermione. "Our little Hermione is always so knowledgeable, isn't she?"

Hermione smiled embarrassedly.

"Ah... we're here."
