Crazy Ex-Boyfriend
Chapter 20
Aleksandr Bashrov glanced at his son coldly.
"Apologize to Hayley and tell her that you won't make the same mistake again."
David suppressed his anger. "I'm sorry, Hayley. It's my fault.
I promise in the name of my mother that there won't be a next time. "
Alexander glared at his son angrily.
Helen was expressionless. Hayley was rolling her eyes in her heart. What did he mean by mentioning his mother?
Was he trying to make trouble for Helen or Alexander?
However, neither of them seemed to be the kind of people who would worry about his mother.
After such an incident, Helen was no longer in the mood to continue playing. Alexander sent the mother and daughter home.
Although they were sitting in the back seat together, Hayley didn't speak along the way. David was also very tactful and didn't speak to her.
When they arrived at Bellaire's new residence, Hayley didn't wait for the maid to open the door. She angrily opened the door and got out of the car. She slammed the door.
Helen couldn't help but frown at David, who had just gotten out of the car.
David watched Hayley go in with a disappointed expression.
Haley had actually stopped being angry a long time ago. No matter how much Alexander doted on his son, he would think that his son wasn't smart enough or wasn't calm enough after he complained.
Just as she was about to take a nap before dinner, someone sent a pure white butterfly puppy over. He said that Mr. Bashrov had given it to Hayley.
Helen didn't ask anything. Hayley stood on the stairs and asked, "Which Mr. Bashrov is it?
The older one? "
The person said yes.
"Put it down." She sent the person away.
She asked Lucia to bathe the puppy, blow dry it, and bring it up to her.
After being interrupted, she didn't feel sleepy anymore. She went back to her room and called Juven, telling him that she wouldn't go out tonight and that he would go out to play by himself.
She talked on the phone for almost an hour until Lucia brought the butterfly puppy over.
The puppy was well raised and very beautiful. It was a very beautiful puppy.
It didn't bark or make a fuss. It was also very quiet when she combed its hair. Hayley played with the puppy for a long time. She braided its hair and tied it with a pink ribbon. She let it sit on the chair next to her during dinner.
Helen didn't say anything.
When they were almost done eating, she said, "If you don't like David, you don't have to see him in the future.
If you don't like that Harry, you don't have to pay any attention to him. "She thought for a moment." Do you like a pretty boy like Raven? "
Hayley nodded.
"That's true.
My baby is so pretty, so her boyfriend must be pretty too. "
After dinner, someone brought something else. It was a pink and violet satin dress in a gift box, and a pair of low-heeled satin shoes of the same color.
She asked who sent it. It was Mr. Bashrov again, but the young one.
Hayley curled her lips. She said she didn't want it and took it away.
The next morning, someone sent hundreds of white roses.
Hayley was so angry that she wanted to laugh. She said to Savannah, "Look!
They don't even know what kind of flowers I like! "
"Hey, don't you like white roses?" Savannah said in her heart, "Oh no." She gave the wrong information.
"Helen likes white roses. I like white roses."
Savannah was confused. "Isn't that the same?"
"It's not the same."
But she didn't return it. She asked the maids to put the roses in a vase and sent a vase to Helen's room.
"This house is much better than Isaac's house. David's family is very rich." Savannah went into the wardrobe and looked through the new clothes. "And he bought you so many new clothes." She took out a dress and gestured in front of her. "Do you want to wear this?"
"You can choose a few. I can't wear them all. When the spring and summer fashion season comes, there will probably be many new dresses." Hayley said casually.
Savannah asked while choosing clothes, "Where do you want to go today?"
"I haven't thought about it yet.
It's Christmas in a few days. There's no fun place. "
Savannah said with a smile, "There's always a place that's open."
"I still have homework to do."
Savannah pretended to be shocked. "What?!
Berkeley has winter homework?! "
Hayley laughed for a long time.
Savannah picked a few dresses and put them in a paper bag. Then she sat next to Hayley.
"What did David do to offend you?"
Hayley smiled. "Just like that. He thinks he can do whatever he wants because he's rich.
When he makes 10 million, he'll consider the possibility of using money to knock me out. "
"Men like them." Savannah snorted. "They probably know the power of money too well."
"Aren't you the same?
I don't want to play with them anymore. Don't go looking for them.
You know what kind of people they are. If you just want to sleep with them, I won't object. But don't fall in love with any of them. "
"Hayley!
How can you say that! "
"I'm telling the truth.
Hey, you're not really in love with one of them, are you? "She looked at her suspiciously." You don't look so stupid.
Oh no!
I'm going to be infected by your stupidity! "
Savannah jumped on her and tickled her waist. The two rolled on the bed and played.
*
Savannah left after lunch.
Juven called her at 12 o 'clock and asked if she would be out in the afternoon. She said she had to do her homework. Juven said he would accompany her to do her homework.
When he came over, Hayley was taking a nap. The maid insisted on asking him to sit in the living room.
After Hayley got up, the maid brought her snacks and milk and told her that Mr. Phoenix was waiting for her in the living room.
She was puzzled. "Why didn't you let him come up?"
"Madam said not to let Mr. Phoenix into your bedroom."
The maid looked embarrassed. "If we can't stop Mr. Phoenix, Madam will ask us to leave.
Miss — "
Hayley frowned. "Why does she care about this?
Okay, I got it. "She changed her clothes and went downstairs.
Juven was bored waiting and asked the maid to bring the newspaper. The maid said there was no newspaper, but fortunately, there was a study. She let him in and picked a few books.
Hayley walked very softly and almost silently. However, Juven knew immediately that she was here. He jumped up from the sofa. "Hayley!"
He hadn't seen her for a day and a half, but it felt like a long time. He hugged and kissed her for a long time.
"Mom doesn't let you go to my room."
Juven felt wronged. "Is there a need to do this?
You're already 18 years old. "
She laughed. "Didn't you want to accompany me to do my homework?
Come on, I want to do my homework in the study. "
She was really serious about doing her homework. Juven read his book quietly and turned to look at her occasionally.
It was almost dinner time. Hayley put away her books.
"What do you want to eat?
I can ask the chef to make it for you. "
"As long as it's vegetarian. I'm not picky."
Yes, a vegetarian who was not picky.
Helen was not at home, so it was just the two of them. The chef made six dishes and two soups. The dishes were exquisite and delicious.
They had just sat down and eaten a few mouthfuls when the maid came to report that David was here.
Hayley frowned. "Don't let him in."
However, David still came in with a big bouquet of white roses in his hand. "Sorry, I sent the wrong flowers this morning."
He took out a rose from the bouquet and placed it beside her plate. Then he passed the bouquet to Lucia. "Put it in a vase and take it to Hayley's room."
Then he sat on the seat on the other side of her.
From the moment he came in until he sat down, he didn't even look at Juven. It was as if he didn't exist.
The dining table was a standard 10-person table with two master seats at each end.
Hayley and Juven didn't need to sit at the master seat of course. They sat casually on the side facing the French window. Juven sat on her left while David sat on her right.
Hayley had never encountered such a situation before. She thought for a while about how to deal with it.
Since she had already offended him, she wasn't afraid of offending him a few more times. She quickly stood up. "Juven, let's go."
Juven stood up obediently and followed her out of the dining room.
David caught up with her. "Hayley!
I've apologized to you for what I didn't do.
Are you still angry? "
Hayley looked surprised. "Do I have to accept your apology?"
There seemed to be no problem at all!
"Then what do you think I should do to be forgiven?
You lied in front of my father, but I didn't expose you. "
Hayley laughed. "I don't think your father will care if I lied or not. He wants to please Helen. Even if he knows that I lied, he won't expose me.
You're not stupid enough to defend yourself. "
David smiled bitterly. "You've really screwed me over!"
"What will you do?
He won't do anything to his son. You don't have to pretend to be pitiful in front of me.
I have to go up and change. Don't bully Juven. You have to know that I don't have to do it myself if I want to deal with you.
I just have to cry in front of Helen and she will go to your father. No one can resist Helen's tears, not even someone like your father. "
David continued to smile bitterly and shook his head.
"I don't think I've done anything to annoy you. Why do you hate me so much?"
Hayley shrugged. "Maybe I don't need a reason. I just don't like you. And yesterday you —" She suddenly stopped and looked at David with a frown. She didn't continue and went upstairs.
Rui Fan was bewildered. What did she mean by that?
What happened yesterday?
David saw him looking at Hayley and sneered. "Why do poor boys always think that rich girls will fall in love with them?
It's fine if you lie in bed and dream about it. Don't mistake her teasing for love. "
