Dragon Rider Warplane

Chapter 817

Chapter 817: The Trap

The two women on the bed looked at their bold colleague with envy and jealousy.

That daring woman showed no fear of the boss’s wrath, recklessly taking the initiative and, surprisingly, succeeding.

After hearing the boss’s words, the two women, having been left out, seized the opportunity to please him, rushing to offer the phone.

"Hmph!"

Zeger snatched his phone from the hands of the two competing naked women, another wave of pleasure surged through him, causing him to involuntarily emit satisfying moans, gasping as the warm, soft bodies pressed against him, wanting to continue what had been interrupted.

"Jack, it’s Zeger… I have a business deal. Do you want to earn some money? Tomorrow, I need to visit a client and I require four number five experimental prototypes. Yes, four. Right now, your number five is the only stable variety available… Oh! Hiss! What? No, one is not enough; it’s simply not safe. That client has high standards and won’t settle for anything less. Can you provide them?…"

"…Someone might disagree, who?… Supervisor Klen? Then pay that old geezer off. Ask him how much he wants. Does he want money or life? I believe any smart person would make a wise choice. If he dares to refuse, he might find himself getting ‘paid off’ completely… Don’t worry, I love dealing with tough nuts… All set then, you make sure they are packed and ready for transport, I’ll cover the shipping costs… The delivery address is Scarlet Manor, the one I’ve taken you to, with the safest facilities and the best security. It’s a professional setup that supports beast fighting, so there won’t be any issues… Yes, the sooner the better; I need it urgently. What? It’s none of your business what I need it for; anyway, those four prototypes won’t survive. Even if they do, it doesn’t matter; I’ll take care of it… Besides, you have plenty of prototypes there, so just make up some excuse about a failed experiment and write a few off; it’s no problem… Good, it’s settled then. Don’t worry, you’ll get your share, hissing! Oh! No more, I have to hang up, oh!”

A wave of intense stimulation washed over Zeger; he ended the call and grabbed the hair of the woman in front of him, his gaze sharpening as if he suddenly focused completely, his body twitching, then he let out a long exhale.

“Oh, baby, you’re amazing!”

He held the woman’s head, a look of utter comfort on his face, enveloped in the gentle embrace created by the three women.

A gentle haven can be a hero’s grave. If Zeger were just a greedy, lustful fool, he likely wouldn’t be sitting as the president of Tiger Energy today. Once he released his desires, a cold glint appeared in his eyes, as if plotting some conspiracy.

Zeger, also known as Koizumi Zeger, used the former name to facilitate his activities abroad. He is of pure blood lineage and not from the inferior Ainu or Ryukyuan tribes. He has always considered himself of noble descent, rarely looking favorably upon anyone, regardless of their capabilities; they merely qualified to be pawns in his eyes.

Zeger is the paratrooper president sent by the Igarashi Group to America two years ago. He operates ruthlessly, with meticulous attention to detail. Thus, within just three months, he rapidly took control of Tiger Energy and, through various legal and illegal methods, was finally able to turn the struggling energy company profitable and thriving, relying on the group’s support.

Zeger dialed another number and said, “Rodriguez, it’s me, Zeger. I need you to book me a spot at Scarlet Manor, okay? Don’t let me down!”

“These bastards!” Zeger’s gaze shifted to the broken phone, his mood turning sour again.

He had assumed the "Hydrogen-Oxygen Decomposition Tank" technology was in his grasp, thinking he could secure a significant profit for the group, only to discover that the inventor had kept a hand in the game, giving a portion of the crucial core data to a foreign buyer.

Even worse, the forty rugged men sent to retrieve the remaining data were all taken down by that one buyer alone.

Forty young, strong thugs could not defeat just one person—what does that make them?

It’s laughable that the gang leader, Miller, had boasted about his fighting prowess, and yet he crumbled immediately when faced with a tough character, failing to escape at all.

Had the people in the villa really cared, all those thugs would have been forced to stay out on the lawn all night.

If Miller dared to show up before him again, Zeger would personally blow off his head. Zeger despised those impotent braggarts the most.

Little did Zeger know, the thugs he wished to tear apart were doomed to suffer a miserable fate; once they lost their financial backing, they would scatter like birds and beasts.

That unfortunate gang leader, Miller, whom Zeger detested beyond measure, was currently in the villa, tied up tightly with nylon zip ties, reduced to whimpering, his previous intimidating presence completely vanishing in front of the CIA agents.

Surrounded by beautiful women, Zeger, with his sharp intellect and cunning, rapidly refined his sinister scheme, ultimately grinning sinisterly before diving back into the fragrant revelry.

Bob Boyce and Lin Mo spent a peaceful night. Bob and his wife, Lisa, packed all their belongings into their pickup truck.

This vehicle, with a car front and cabin, as well as an open cargo bed, is highly practical and economical. Many budget-conscious American families opt for one, as it’s incredibly convenient for carrying both people and goods.

By dawn, the moaning thugs had all disappeared from the lawn, even the vehicles that had seriously violated traffic rules by driving on the sidewalk were gone, including the junk car that Lin Mo had thrown aside, now completely towed away.

It seemed the thugs had completely forgotten their leader or simply didn’t care to abandon him.

Their departure was only natural; neither Bob nor Lin Mo had any intention of keeping them for a party. The further they went, the better—out of sight, out of mind.

However, the police, who should have arrived by now, had still not shown up.

Yesterday afternoon, they had even made three or four calls to the police, and the police had initially claimed all officers were out on assignments and told them to wait a little longer. But waiting had yielded nothing; more calls resulted in the police claiming they were on their way. Now, it was already morning, and not a sign of a single officer was in sight.

Bob’s house was only about seven kilometers from the police station. After a day and a night, they should have arrived by now, but not a single officer had come around.

At this point, everyone understood that something was amiss with the police station.

Even the two CIA agents realized it would only become more dangerous to stay, and they should leave soon. Otherwise, before help could arrive, the people in the villa might lose their lives.

“Everyone, get in the car! Lisa, watch your children, don’t lose them.”

Ivan Carter climbed into the business van, calling to Bob’s wife to get the kids in. Behind the business van, Bob’s pickup was already running.

Lin Mo and Charlie Mitchell stood by the roadside, showing no intention of getting in the car.

The two agents and Lin Mo had agreed that the tough "Black Dragon" Charlie Carter would lead Bob’s family out of Oak Ridge first. At least the CIA provided a solid shield of deterrence; even relying on borrowed authority would ensure Bob’s family’s safety.

Charlie Mitchell stayed back with Lin Mo to tackle the major issue of Tiger Energy stealing the technical data and the validation prototype for the Hydrogen-Oxygen Decomposition Tank.

“Safe travels, Bob. Wishing you and your family well!”

Lin Mo waved to Bob and his wife, along with their excited children. Having this family around was also a hassle for him.

“Thank you, Morin. You are the best friend I, Bob, have ever had!”

Bob replied with heartfelt gratitude as he pressed the gas pedal.

“Charlie, once I get to safety, I will come back for you. Remember to keep in touch and be careful!”

Charlie Mitchell’s partner, Ivan, gave a fist bump to his colleague.

“Ha ha! You be careful too!” Charlie responded with a smile and returned a fist bump.

The two vehicles had hardly gone far when suddenly two police cars came speeding out, sirens blaring, blocking the way, halting both Charlie and Bob’s vehicles.

“A bunch of bastards! They don’t deserve to be called police!”

Seeing this, Charlie Mitchell ground his teeth and cursed. The speed of the police cars and the timing of their sirens indicated they had been lying in wait nearby, ready to intercept once Bob’s family attempted to leave.

What’s worse, at the other end of the road, two more police cars with sirens blared, effectively sealing off the entire road leading to the villa.

These officers had completely failed to live up to their uniforms. When civilians desperately called for assistance, they never showed. Yet when these civilians sought to escape danger, the police conveniently cut off their chances, like wolves in sheepskin.

“Stay where you are! Stay where you are! Otherwise, I’ll shoot!”

Several officers emerged from the vehicles, guns drawn, cautiously approaching the business van and the pickup truck.

The three children in the business van, having never seen such a scene, were instantly terrified, curling up in their mother Lisa’s embrace.

Agent Ivan Carter’s expression was grim, yet he dared not move, fully aware that the officers would indeed fire—and they had the law on their side.
