Legend of Diablo Hongmaru
Chapter 11
Once upon a time, there was a black charcoal ball. It could travel freely within the walls of Honnmaru, fight with chaos, and have a heart-to-heart talk with little angel Sayo.
It played hide-and-seek with Gokotai's Little Brain Tiger, messed around with Yagen's medicine, secretly ate the food cut by the candlestick in the kitchen, and went on adventures with little Tsurumaru. It was captured by Kashuu Kiyomitsu as a strong man.
Then, one day, it met with tragedy.
It was a sunny morning, and Honnmaru woke up in the morning light.
A certain black charcoal ball also woke up, and habitually wanted to scratch its messy face.
Huh?
What's my head?
Without a face, it was confused.
"It's probably because you've been moving around in Honnmaru's body all day, and I found you too annoying, so I tied you up." After observing for a while, it concluded.
The black charcoal ball didn't feel uncomfortable. In fact, it felt quite novel. After all, even its vision had changed, and it had become a god's perspective. The whole of Honnmaru was in its eyes, and even the slightest movement of the wind and grass couldn't escape from its eyes.
"Then you can play inside. Maybe one day you'll be free."
·
"God's Inquisitor, you have seven Fu Mourning God Swords in Honnmaru. You can go out now!" A fox shikigami sat in front of him.
Jiang Shu carried a plate of oily tofu in front of Fox's Assistance. "When can we use the knife forging room?" After Yamato Shoudan, Kashuu Kiyomitsu became gentler.
"I don't know. It's not easy to get knife craftsmen these days." After pretending to refuse, Fox's Assistance began to enjoy the food.
Jiang Shu squatted on the ground, watching Fox's Assistance eat the oily tofu. His thoughts had already drifted to the sky.
·
During dinner, Jiang Shu told them the news brought by Fox's Assistance.
They looked very happy, happy that they had finally been put to use. They were swords and blades, born to be on the battlefield. Even if they died, they would die on the battlefield.
"My lord, are we going to set off tomorrow?" Candlestick Qie asked eagerly.
"Yes." Jiang Shu nodded.
At night, everyone went back and took out their battle robes, which had not seen the light of day for a long time, and put them next to their pillows.
He went to bed early, hoping to be in his best condition to face his first battle as a new student.
That night, it was Jiang Shu who found it hard to sleep. He turned his head and saw that Tsurumaru was still sleeping peacefully.
She gently got up and adjusted Tsurumaru's quilt. Then, she put on her coat and quietly went out.
He sat cross-legged on the edge of the corridor with his elbows on his knees and his palms on his cheeks.
He tilted his head to look at the moon in the sky. He had never carefully observed the night view of Honnmaru. After dinner, he returned to his room.
He didn't know why he couldn't sleep. He just felt sad.
He didn't understand their desire for battle. He didn't like battle.
Jiang Shu was the thirteenth successor of this Honnmaru. He was born to belong to this Honnmaru. The previous twelve God's Inquisitors all died young. They didn't die on the battlefield. They hid behind the scenes, but what they did was no less than the martial God's Inquisitors.
Their work was also special. They were in charge of purification. They purified the Fu Mourning God who had lost themselves on the battlefield.
The darkness that the Fu Mourning God had infected on the battlefield was irreversible. Purification was the only way.
The God's Inquisitors who had lost their swords were not the only ones who were in pain.
When the Purifiers saw the Fu Mourning God's final radiance and the God's Inquisitors' forced smiles, they were no less sad than the God's Inquisitors.
They didn't die from spiritual exhaustion. They were finally depressed. There was nothing more terrible than a shadow cast over the heart.
Jiang Shu was born in a time of peace. It could be said that he grew up happily. Then he slowly accepted the inheritance when he became an adult.
The previous fifth God's Inquisitor was forced to grow up almost overnight. He had to bear his own responsibilities.
He was 18 years old.
Jiang Shu was suddenly awakened by the Firefly that stopped at the tip of his nose. His eyes were almost cross-eyed as he stared at the Firefly.
Jiang Shu wrinkled his nose. The Firefly was unmoved. "Hoo —" It pouted and blew at the tip of its nose.
The Firefly: Hey, I, the Firefly, will give you some face, Jiang Shu.
Then it shook its wings gracefully.
Jiang Shu:
Jiang Shu sat up straight and slowly moved his hands to his nose. He wanted to catch the Firefly in the palm of his hand.
Unexpectedly, the Firefly flapped its wings and slowly flew away.
"Lord — —" Jiang Shu turned his head and saw Tsurumaru stumbling toward him.
Jiang Shu stretched out his hands. Tsurumaru followed Jiang Shu's hands and bumped into his arms.
Jiang Shu crossed his legs. Tsurumaru sat obediently on his lap. Jiang Shu pulled the front of his jacket and covered Tsurumaru with it.
"Look." Jiang Shu's chin rubbed Tsurumaru's soft hair.
Perhaps it was because the firefly had gone back to call its friends. The originally dim courtyard, which only had the moonlight, was now filled with specks of fireflies. One, two, three specks of fireflies filled the entire courtyard.
Tsurumaru woke up from his sleep. His eyes shone as he looked at the Firefly in front of him.
"Is it beautiful?"
"Yes, yes!" Tsurumaru nodded like a chick pecking at rice.
After the initial novelty, Tsurumaru began to feel sleepy again.
Jiang Shu carried Tsurumaru into the house.
The Firefly behind them: I feel like I've been taken for free. Scumbag.
Jiang Shu bent down and put Tsurumaru back under the blanket. When he got up, Tsurumaru's chubby hands wrapped around the back of Jiang Shu's neck. He straightened his upper body and rubbed against Jiang Shu's neck. "Good night." Then he crawled under the blanket.
Jiang Shu smiled and brushed Tsurumaru's hair aside. He kissed his forehead. "Sweet dreams."
The next day, before dawn, Honnmaru was already brightly lit.
Before the Fu Mourning Gods who were worried about their mothers went out, they still had to take care of the two children left behind in Honnmaru — Jiang Shu and Tsurumaru.
"May your martial arts be prosperous." Jiang Shu and Tsurumaru sent off the first team of Honnmaru.
After having lunch with Tsurumaru, Tsurumaru disappeared. No one knew where he ran off to. Jiang Shu lay on the corridor in front of the front hall with his stomach spread out. He felt like he was going to melt into the sunlight.
However, the two Fu Mourning Gods outside Honnmaru didn't think so.
In their eyes, Honnmaru was like this: The sky was filled with dark energy, the teeth and claws of tigers, the dim and mottled red door, and the two ferocious-looking lion heads.
Imanotsurugi swung her white ponytail: This Honnmaru is so cool!
Mikazuki: As long as Imanotsurugi is happy.
Imanotsurugi leaned against the wall and looked for a while. She found that the inside was hazy and foggy. "Mikazuki, lie down!
I'm going to knock on the door. "
Imanotsurugi: I wonder if the boss inside will mind if I bring a burden.
Mikazuki: I wonder if they respect the old and love the young.
Hahaha.
Mikazuki leaned against the wall and adjusted her posture so that she wouldn't look so revealing.
Imanotsurugi cleared her throat, pulled the copper ring in the lion head's mouth, and knocked on the door.
"Is anyone there?
My friend has fainted. Can you help me? "Imanotsurugi shouted in a hoarse voice.
Imanotsurugi leaned her ear against the door. There was no sound for a long time.
"Eh?
Eh? "Imanotsurugi's body kept falling forward Σ (っ ° Д °;) っ.
The door didn't seem to be locked, so it opened when Imanotsurugi leaned on it.
Imanotsurugi fell on the dry grass behind the door.
Imanotsurugi looked at the scene inside Honnmaru and felt that it was a little exciting. It was like a haunted house.
"Mikazuki, come here. There's no one here." Imanotsurugi poked her head out and waved at Mikazuki.
Mikazuki stood up calmly, brushed the dust off her body, and followed behind Imanotsurugi. Her left thumb flicked the katana out of the scabbard.
The moment Three Suns and Moons stepped through the door, the door slammed shut with a "clang", and there was also the sound of the copper rings outside the door jingling.
"Mikazuki." Imanotsurugi's face couldn't be seen from the front, so she spoke with a whisper.
Mikazuki stood behind them, thinking that Imanotsurugi finally knew how to be afraid. She felt a little relieved, and decided to throw Imanotsurugi out if she was in danger, even if she had to die.
"What a beautiful chick ~ ~" Hearing the ecstasy at the end of Jin Jian's words, Three Ri-Moon's face turned cold. Oh, you should just die here.
Imanotsurugi excitedly brought Mikazuki around the legendary dark Honnmaru.
"Wow, Mikazuki, look at this blood stain, isn't it artistic?" Imanotsurugi pointed at the blood stain in the shape of a blooming flower by the window.
Mikazuki: Don't you think this shape is pretentious?
The black ball of Honnmaru admired Imanotsurugi's gaze: Thank you, thank you. Looks like we'll have a lot to talk about.
Jin Ken and Mitsuyuki, who had finished their tour of Honmaru, stood in the courtyard and looked at the dilapidated and tall building.
"Forget it, Mikazuki, I think it's a bit dangerous here." Imanotsurugi rubbed his chin, pretending to be deep in thought.
Mikazuki: You just realized?
Don't you think it's too late?
"What if it collapses one day?"
Mikazuki: … Is that all you're worried about?
"Let's go, it's time to go back ~" Tengu hopped towards the door.
15 minutes later …
"Mikazuki, why aren't we at the door yet?"
"Hahaha, it's probably a ghost going around a wall."
