My Master Breaks Through Only at the Last Moment

Chapter 1287

Chapter 1287: Delivering Treasures

“Not far from here lies a large world known as the Dark Origin Realm.”

“It seems to have angered a chaotic saint-level being, leading to the collapse of the entire world. That’s why I called you here—to search for treasures there.”

“Are you interested?” Xu Fan asked.

Wang Yulun’s eyes sparkled.

“I’ve been bored lately. Let’s head to the Dark Origin Realm right now!” Wang Yulun said excitedly.

Just then, a tall, stunning woman approached, carrying a jug of wine and four small dishes.

“I knew my husband was chatting with Big Brother, so I brought some wine and snacks,” the stunning woman said softly, placing the items on the table between them before leaving.

Xu Fan glanced back at her with interest.

“She’s one of my maidservants from a past life. She’s always been by my side, so obedient and endearing,” Wang Yulun explained.

“A Great Luo Saint’s cultivation is quite rare. Should we find a way to help her reach the quasi-saint level?” Xu Fan said, smiling as he looked at the chives on the table.

“Her talent is quite limited. I’ve used countless treasures from the Three Thousand Realms just to raise her to the level of a Great Luo Saint.”

“If she can advance further, I’d be deeply grateful, Big Brother Xu,” Wang Yulun said sincerely.

“We’re brothers; no need for thanks.”

The two continued fishing in the void while sipping their drinks.

“While you’ve been in the Chaotic Mist Area, has your True Self ever come looking for you?” Xu Fan asked after finishing a cup of wine.

“He did, actually. Through some karmic connection, he had one of my confidantes deliver a message,” Wang Yulun replied.

“What did he say?” Xu Fan’s curiosity was piqued.

“He wants to meet you, Big Brother Xu, but only if you promise not to target his source,” Wang Yulun said with a laugh.

He found it amusing that his True Self was so afraid of Xu Fan.

Despite his grand ambitions and formidable presence, the True Self could only feel fear and resentment toward Xu Fan.

“Not targeting his source is out of the question. The quickest way for you to become a Great Saint is by devouring his source.”

“Otherwise, your spirit will remain incomplete, and that’s a problem that’s hard to fix,” Xu Fan explained.

“If you won’t agree, then there’s nothing we can do. He’ll just have to keep hiding,” Wang Yulun said casually.

“He won’t be able to hide forever. Once I become a Great Saint, no matter where your True Self runs, he won’t escape me,” Xu Fan said with a chuckle.

At that moment, Wang Yulun’s fishing rod suddenly jerked.

A tremendous force pulled at the line.

After a brief struggle, the catch was reeled into the Chaotic Mist Area.

In Wang Yulun’s hand appeared a seed, radiating a fragrant aroma.

The delightful scent made both Xu Fan and Wang Yulun sigh in admiration.

“This clear fragrance must come from some kind of innate spiritual seed I’ve never encountered before,” Xu Fan remarked.

“Then I’ll leave it to you, Big Brother Xu, to plant it,” Wang Yulun said, handing the seed over.

“Alright, I’ll let you know once I grow something worthwhile.”

At this moment, the Star Ship had already turned around and was speeding toward the Dark Origin Realm.

Just then, Xu Fan sensed numerous auras approaching from a distance.

After a quick scan, he realized it was a fleet of Giant Ships.

The Giant Ship fleet had also detected Xu Fan’s Star Ship and was slowly closing in.

Xu Fan glanced toward the fleet and smiled, “Looks like something interesting is about to happen. Before we enter the Dark Origin Realm, your confidantes might need to warm up a bit.”

As soon as he finished speaking, a powerful aura locked onto the Star Ship.

All the women on board froze in surprise.

“This Great Saint’s aura is way too weak. It’s probably not even enough to satisfy me,” the snake ring on Wang Yulun’s arm stirred.

“Don’t be hasty. There are other Great Saints on that Giant Ship fleet. This is just their way of testing the waters,” Xu Fan waved his hand, calming White Snake.

At that moment, several more powerful auras locked onto the Star Ship.

Soon, the figures of several alien Great Saints appeared around the ship.

“The Dark Origin Realm is now under the control of our Chen Mountain Realm. Please leave,” one of the alien Powerful Beings declared.

Just then, a woman wielding a Spiritual Sword appeared on the Star Ship.

“One-on-one or all at once? Let’s skip the small talk and get to it,” the woman said coldly.

Immediately, the alien Great Saints around the Star Ship made their move.

A massive hand, formed from the chaotic wide road, reached out to seize the Star Ship.

“Sisters, time to have some fun,” the woman with the Spiritual Sword called out.

A colossal mountain materialized, shielding the Star Ship and unleashing immense pressure on the alien Great Saints.

A White Snake, as vast as the Immortal Realm, emerged, flicking its crimson tongue and glaring coldly at the alien Great Saints.

Several more Great Saint auras appeared, locking onto the alien Great Saints and the Giant Ship fleet nearby.

The chaotic giant hand aimed at the Star Ship was obliterated by the sudden appearance of the massive mountain before it could even make contact.

The alien Great Saints were quickly subdued.

Soon after, the Giant Ship fleet was taken over by Wang Yulun’s confidante.

“They really don’t know their limits, daring to provoke us like that. I wonder how they even became Great Saints,” Xu Fan remarked, shaking his head with a smile.

“True, even chaotic giant beasts are more cautious than them,” Wang Yulun chuckled.

The maidservant confidante approached.

“Elder Sister mentioned there are plenty of treasures on this Giant Ship fleet. There’s one Xuanhuang Supreme Treasure, six innate supreme treasures, and a Primordial Purple Qi crystal spanning ten thousand feet.”

“There’s also an innate spirit root in its seedling stage, but its value is hard to determine,” the woman reported.

“Let Elder Sister handle the distribution of the Xuanhuang and innate supreme treasures,” Wang Yulun instructed.

“Understood, my husband,” the maidservant confidante nodded and left.

“You’ve got some serious luck. I’ve wandered the Chaotic Mist Area for ages and never stumbled upon such a generous delivery,” Xu Fan said, clearly envious.

“Maybe it’s because this area is close to the Dark Origin Realm, so there are more reckless folks around.”

“If Big Brother Xu comes over, you might get lucky too,” Wang Yulun suggested.

“You’re closer here. My true body is far away, so it’ll take some time to get here,” Xu Fan replied.

At that moment, the cold-faced woman with the Spiritual Sword approached.

“Got a moment? That earlier fight wasn’t satisfying. How about a spar?” she asked lightly.

“No need to rush. You’ll get your chance in the Dark Origin Realm. There’s no point in us sparring now,” Xu Fan said, shaking his head.

“What do you mean ‘no point’? Are you saying I’m better than you, or you’re better than me?” the woman pressed.

“Well, I’m not as strong as you. You’re a Great Saint, and I’m just a Sage. There’s no comparison,” Xu Fan admitted.
