My Master Breaks Through Only at the Last Moment

Chapter 1306

Chapter 1306: Safe Departure

After a false alarm, everyone set off again.

The Lord of the Demon Domain raised an eyebrow at Yuan Lord.

“You’ve got quite the story behind that Primordial Supreme Treasure of yours. The journey’s long—why not share it?”

“Not much to tell. I ran into a badly injured chaotic god or demon while wandering the Chaotic Mist Area.”

“I only got this Primordial Supreme Treasure after swearing a bunch of oaths tied to the Chaos Great Path Laws.”

“By your own logic, I guess you could say it’s the fruit of my labor,” Yuan Lord replied, his tone calm.

Though he seemed composed, he was secretly on edge.

Just then, Xu Fan chimed in.

“Yuan Lord, didn’t the Yuanshi Sect have two Primordial Supreme Treasures? What’s the other one?”

“Xu the Divine Master, that’s a pointless question. Back when Yuan Lord and I were rivals, I tried every trick in the book to get that other treasure, but it never showed,” the Lord of the Demon Domain added, clearly curious.

“It’ll come out when it’s needed,” Yuan Lord said dismissively, walking away without another word.

By now, the Human Palace was nearing the entrance to the path.

Along the way, they encountered more and more chaotic gods or demons.

Xu Fan pulled out an array disk and activated the chaotic grand formation, cloaking the entire human race’s temple.

“Xu the Divine Master, can this formation be detected by chaotic saint-level gods or demons?” Yuan Lord asked, seeking clarification.

“Not if we stay more than ten thousand light armor away,” Xu Fan replied, fine-tuning the formation.

“Good to know.”

Three years later, the Human Palace reached the entrance to the path.

The entrance looked unremarkable, but it required specific Chaos Great Path Laws to unlock.

“Xu the Divine Master, it’s your turn,” said a human race elder.

“No need to overcomplicate things,” Xu Fan said, waving his hand and releasing a light column infused with the Chaos Five Elements Path.

The surrounding Chaotic Mist Area began to tremble.

A massive opening, like a space crack, slowly formed.

The Human Palace darted inside.

The opening closed behind them, and everything returned to normal.

Now, in a strange, isolated space, everyone inside the Human Palace was on edge.

The moment they entered, they felt the overwhelming presence of a Chaotic Great Saint-level giant beast.

Their faces grew serious as they double-checked their route, terrified of making a wrong move and alerting the unseen beast.

If the Human Palace had been moving like a rocket before, now it felt like they were crawling at a snail’s pace.

“When we first came here, no one mentioned such an oppressive force,” Lord of the Demon Domain said with a frown.

“You’re overthinking it; this is just the natural aura around us. If we wake the main one, even just a glance could make us explode,” Yuan Lord replied.

“In the eyes of that Chaotic Great Saint-level giant beast, we are just little insects. If we crawl slowly and quietly, it won’t notice us.”

In the center of this special chaotic area lay a massive creature coiled up.

Surrounding it were various chaotic treasures, both supreme treasures and heavenly spirit roots, all radiating an extraordinary aura.

At that moment, the gigantic creature seemed to sense something, its eyelids moved slightly, then it settled back into stillness.

With just that slight movement of its eyelids, a powerful aura emitted from it.

From an unknown distance, the Human Palace immediately felt the effects, as if a heavy hammer struck their hearts.

“Master, the oppressive force on this road is too strong; the sect’s disciples are struggling to handle it. I suggest we seal them all,” Grape said.

“That’s fine. Let’s seal them all, even an ordinary Great Saint can barely withstand this aura,” Xu Fan nodded in agreement.

Yuan Lord and the disciples from Lord of the Demon Domain’s various sects also sealed themselves.

Everyone gathered inside the Human Palace, monitoring its course.

“After ten thousand years, this aura serves as great training for our thoughts,” a human race elder remarked.

Just as the group was talking, another wave of pressure swept through.

Everyone’s faces turned grim; the feeling of being shaken mentally was indeed unpleasant.

“Let’s self-seal then, each for seven hundred fifty years, excluding Xu the Divine Master,” Yuan Lord stated.

“That works too; just this shaking of our minds will leave us wasted when we step outside,” Lord of the Demon Domain agreed.

Xu Fan intended to offer a polite remark but, seeing the pained expressions on everyone’s faces, he wisely kept quiet.

I’m an artisan; I don’t do such laborious work.

As soon as Xu Fan returned to Hidden Spirit Island, he sealed himself.

Time passed unmeasured, until Grape woke him up.

“Master, the Human Palace has left that area, and now we are positioned outside the two Great God or Demon Empires,” Grape’s voice rang out.

“Has a decade passed?” Xu Fan asked.

“One thousand and one hundred thirty-two years. There was a little incident along the way that caused some delays,” Grape replied.

“Incident?”

“A Chaotic Great Saint-level giant beast sneezed, shocking the mind of the Lord of the Demon Domain who was on duty at the time.”

“This situation occurred three more times afterward.”

Listening to Grape, Xu Fan nodded.

“Those big shots worked hard; I’ll treat them to a good meal once we settle down,” Xu Fan said with a smile, delighted to have made it through that passage safely.

At that moment, everyone inside the Human Palace relaxed, as if they had just escaped from the brink of death.

“If only we could inhale some chaotic aura containing chaotic truth right now,” Lord of the Demon Domain said, taking out a jar of wine.

At that moment, a small ball of gas, the size of a glass bead, shot toward Lord of the Demon Domain.

“I have a little here to fulfill your small request,” Xu Fan’s voice echoed.

Instantly, everyone turned to look at the small gas ball in Lord of the Demon Domain’s hand, then they all shifted their gaze to Xu Fan.

“There’s enough for everyone, not a single one left out,” Xu Fan said, ensuring Yuan Lord and a few other human race elders received theirs as well.

What was once a joyous celebration turned directly into a session of inhaling the chaotic aura.

“Xu the Divine Master, I’ll definitely catch you more chaotic giant beasts in the future,” Lord of the Demon Domain expressed while inhaling, feeling touched.

Xu Fan projected a large light curtain that displayed the current location of the Human Palace.

“Where shall we head next? Should we split up or stay together?” Xu Fan asked.

“Let’s split up; everyone has their own opportunities, and gathering together isn’t beneficial,” Yuan Lord decisively stated.

“Splitting up works for me. I still want to see that legendary chaotic center.”

“I wonder how vast and splendid the Divine Nation built by living beings within the realm truly is,” Lord of the Demon Domain remarked.

“Great! Should we set a time to meet again?” Xu Fan inquired.

“How about we meet here every two hundred thousand years based on the current timeline, and discuss our return time then?” Yuan Lord proposed, eyeing the light curtain projected by Xu Fan with a gleam in his eyes.

“Sounds good.”

The three groups separated, all flying towards the chaotic center.

“Grape, wake all the disciples.”
