My Master Breaks Through Only at the Last Moment
Chapter 1421
Chapter 1421: Unrefined Chaotic Material
In the small world where Xu Fan resided on the Chaotic Ship, he gazed at the sky, feeling that something was missing.
"Fake is still fake," he muttered.
With a wave of his hand, the surroundings transformed into an oceanic world.
"Over 300,000 years, and it’s still so boring," Xu Fan sighed.
"Supervisor, would you like to join me for a game of Realm Chess?" Xu Fan asked.
"I don’t understand the rules, and I can’t play," the Holy Light Girl appeared nearby.
"You can learn the rules gradually," Xu Fan encouraged.
"From what I know, Realm Chess is popular among the top-tier powerful beings in various Chaotic Mist Areas."
"Understanding the rules and becoming proficient will greatly benefit your future cultivation," Xu Fan explained.
He began to personally teach the Holy Light Girl the rules of Realm Chess.
In his current avatar state, cultivation was futile, and deciphering the system was impossible. Even exploring the chaotic wide roads wouldn’t yield much.
As Xu Fan explained, the Holy Light Girl slowly began to grasp the concepts, her face occasionally lighting up with understanding.
It took Xu Fan a thousand years to fully explain the rules of Realm Chess before the Holy Light Girl finally understood.
She started playing clumsily, following her own interpretation of the rules.
Their first game lasted a hundred years, leaving the Holy Light Girl dizzy and overwhelmed, as if her CPU had overloaded.
"Master Xu, I can’t continue. Let me rest before we play again," the Holy Light Girl said, looking exhausted.
Despite both being at the Great Saint level, the gap between them was vast, especially since Xu Fan was merely an avatar.
Xu Fan waved his hand, feeling a bit disinterested.
The Holy Light Girl transformed into a beam of holy light and retreated to her holy light palace to rest.
Just as Xu Fan was contemplating how boring the future would be, someone called out from outside the small world.
"What brings you here, esteemed elder?" Xu Fan asked, facing the chaotic saint-level powerful being from the Holy Hui tribe.
"The journey is long, and there’s a central world in Zone A for everyone to gather and interact."
"Currently, a Realm Chess tournament is being held there. Would you be interested?" the Holy Hui tribe powerful being asked with a smile.
Xu Fan’s eyes lit up at the news.
"Thank you for informing me, esteemed elder. I happen to be feeling quite bored," Xu Fan replied politely.
The Holy Hui tribe powerful being nodded and moved on to inform the next small world.
Xu Fan walked to the edge of the Chaotic Ship, gazing at the unrefined chaotic material beyond the protective shield.
"Such valuable resources, but unfortunately, my strength isn’t enough to harness them," Xu Fan lamented.
To him, these unrefined chaotic materials were the very essence of all creation.
Now he had hundreds of ways to convert these materials into energy. With a simple gesture, a strand of unrefined material from the Chaotic Mist Area appeared in Xu Fan’s hand. Under his manipulation, this strand transformed into a potent holy elixir. A single dose of this elixir could sustain a Great Saint’s spirit for tens of thousands of years. Holding the newly formed elixir, Xu Fan smiled, thinking, "I still have much to learn; I’ll take it step by step."
"This is the first time I’ve seen unrefined material from the Chaotic Mist Area turned into a holy elixir," a voice chuckled beside him. A powerful being from the Holy Hui tribe, at the Chaotic Great Saint level, had quietly appeared next to Xu Fan.
"Have you been observing for long, esteemed elder?" Xu Fan asked after a respectful greeting.
"I sensed someone extracting materials from the chaos, so I came to investigate," the elder replied. "I didn’t expect to find you turning this material into a holy elixir. Your method is clever, but somewhat wasteful," he added, as he casually gathered a large mass of unrefined material from outside the Chaotic Ship.
Under the elder’s guidance, the mass began to evolve towards chaotic truth. "Transforming it into a holy elixir is too wasteful; evolving it into chaotic truth is far more efficient," he explained. "However, it’s impressive that you can manipulate material transformations at the Great Saint level," he complimented Xu Fan.
"Thank you for the praise, esteemed elder. I hadn’t realized this material could also transform into chaotic truth," Xu Fan responded, feigning surprise. He noted, however, that the transformation would take at least three Epochs to complete, a timeframe too lengthy for his liking.
"Young one, your talent is remarkable. Would you consider joining the Holy Hui tribe and becoming my disciple? I would allow you to protect your own tribe," the elder offered kindly.
Xu Fan, internally lamenting the burdens of excellence, politely declined, "I fear I may disappoint you, esteemed elder."
"I understand. Should you change your mind, you know where to find me. Remember my code name: Ye," the elder said.
"I will remember, esteemed elder," Xu Fan replied.
"It’s rare to find someone as gifted as you, though it’s a pity you’re not of the Holy Hui tribe. Fortunately, you’re on the Chaotic Ship; I must respect the ship’s master. Otherwise, you might not escape my grasp," the elder sighed.
"Esteemed elder, do you play Realm Chess?" Xu Fan quickly changed the subject.
"Of course, my skills rank in the top ten among our tribe. Would you like to play a game?" the elder asked, amused.
"I’ve only recently learned; I hope you can guide me," Xu Fan said.
"Playing is just playing; no need for guidance. But a little wager would make it more interesting. What can you offer?" the elder inquired cheerfully.
Xu Fan produced a top-tier Xuanhuang Supreme Treasure he had found upon leaving the Chaotic Mist Area.
"A Xuanhuang Supreme Treasure; that will do," the elder conceded.
In the center world of the Chaotic Ship, several powerful beings were already engaged in games of Realm Chess, each game watched by dozens of spectators. Xu Fan and the elder found an empty board and began setting up.
"Young one, I won’t take advantage of you. It takes 30,000 years for the Chaotic Ship to reach the next chaotic area. If we don’t finish the first game by then, I will consider it a loss," the elder stated.
"You are too gracious, esteemed elder," Xu Fan nodded, making his first move. Observers quickly recognized the game as a teaching match and lost interest.
Meanwhile, outside the chaotic center, the dark Chaotic Mist Area was suddenly illuminated by four beams of starlight. A massive spatial ripple expanded outward, revealing a large world encircled by six stars.
"Before, I just fled with my sect; now, it seems I must carry an entire large world to escape," remarked avatar number two, appearing outside the Three Thousand Realms.
