Stark's Good Girl

Chapter 10

Half an hour later, Tony and Bucky were sitting in the screening room eating sandwiches. To be precise, one was sitting and the other was half sitting. Jarvis was beside them as usual, and Fléty was preparing lunch in the kitchen.

On the screen, a mature and handsome man with a mustache was introducing his fair, and a naughty child was causing trouble behind him.

"Tony!" he scolded.

"Look, this is how my dad and I get along." Tony was drinking his third glass of fruit and vegetable juice today. "He's working, I'm causing trouble, and he yells at me."

"The model you picked up is made of steel, and the edges are very sharp." Bucky, who was good at sniping, had sharp eyes. "He's probably just afraid that you'll hurt yourself."

Is this some kind of magic from the 1930s?

Tony thought. This old antique could coat all the bad memories with a layer of warm light.

But the old man was absolutely happy the day he sent me to boarding school. He even set off fireworks!

Tony took a big bite of his sandwich.

As the tape was playing, a snowflake suddenly appeared on the screen, and then the handsome man with a mustache appeared again.

This time, there was no Tony behind him, only a model of the fair.

He said —

"This is what I left for you."

"The key to the future of the world."

"You will change the world."

The handsome man with a mustache had wrinkles on his forehead and gray hair at his temples. He wasn't young, and he looked weathered, but his eyes were shining as he whispered the words he left for his son, hoping that he would hear them one day.

— My greatest creation will always be you.

Fléty, who was about to make a pie with flour in his hands, was startled by the boss rushing out.

"Jarvis?

Fléty?

Let's go back now! "

"What do you need, sir?" Jarvis hurriedly followed him.

"I need the floor plan of the 1974 Stark Industries Fair!"

"It's in the basement." Fléty washed the flour off his hands.

"Boss, the 3D model of the 1974 Stark Industries Fair is in your office, but the floor plan is in the basement."

Tony blew down like a gust of wind.

"Do you know? He looks very much like Howard back then." Bucky was at the back of the group and revealed a nostalgic smile.

"Every time Howard is about to blow up the lab or destroy something, he always looks so excited."

The floor plan was still not intuitive enough. In the end, Tony found a sports car that his father used to pick up girls when he was young. He quickly fixed the engine and drove straight to the office to dismantle the 3D model. He then swaggered back to Malibu.

Sure enough, he bumped into Colsen, who happened to be at the door.

"Mr. Stark, did you just come back from Palm Island?"

"It's too sunny on Palm Island." Tony was in a good mood and remembered to continue with his "itinerary."

"I'm back."

Colsen looked at the beautiful red convertible and Fléty in the passenger seat. He then fixed his eyes on the Mark 5 in the back seat. "It's rare to see this armor not in the appearance of a briefcase."

"It's broken." Tony quickly removed the facial armor manually, revealing the empty interior.

"Otherwise, why would I give up the swimsuit model and rush back?"

While the agent and Iron Man were having a conversation where neither of them believed the other, Bucky quietly sneaked into the Malibu House with Jarvis in the earpiece. He then watched as Tony quickly got rid of Colsen and excitedly rushed to the underground studio to study the "key to the future."

It turned out that Stark never disappointed.

Tony gathered the blue light that filled the sky into his palm, and the brand-new atomic structure flashed with vitality at his fingertips.

"Thank you, Dad."

The prodigal son began to tear down the house. What was interesting was that when Tony was holding the electric drill, Bucky watched from the side for a while and directly walked over to pull him away. He held his breath in his dantian and clenched his fists —

"Bang!"

The fist punched through the wall.

"Do you need to expand it a little more?" The baby face looked at the mustache man sincerely.

"… One more punch here." The crispy Iron Man tapped the floor.

The "renovation" work was in full swing, and the entire Malibu House was covered in dust.

Since discovering the new use of the Winter Soldier, Brooklyn Flower had quickly been reduced to being a dedicated renovation worker for Moustache. He carried the accelerator pipe down three floors in one breath and did not even catch his breath.

The mustache man with a six-pack leaned against the stairs to express his envy.

A new element was born in Stark's hands.

The moment the blue triangular fusion energy was put into the reactor, various values began to flash crazily on the screen.

Jarvis's always calm and elegant voice was rarely emotional. "All values are normal. Congratulations, you have created a new element. This should be able to replace the palladium element you are currently using."

"J, let me know when the test is completed. I've had enough of these spider web-like traces." Tony touched his chest under his T-shirt, which was full of slightly protruding purple-black blood vessels.

"I will, sir. The test is estimated to take four hours to complete. It's dinner time now. Why don't you take a break in the dining room?"

"I don't want to leave this baby." Tony bent his index finger and tapped on the new reactor. "While it's still early, I can upgrade Mark 5."

"Boss, tonight's menu is lobster with foie gras, beef steak with vanilla sauce, fruit-wood roast chicken, olive aloe cream angel noodles, chocolate doughnuts and blueberry cookies for dessert." Fléty's calm voice sounded in the studio.

Tony: "… I suddenly feel a little hungry."

However, the mustache man who walked into the dining room in his slippers was suddenly shocked.

There was a reasonable explanation for the strange rich menu —

At the long dining table, the main seat was empty. Pepper and Happy were sitting on one side, and Roddy and Bucky were sitting on the other side.

Fléty was putting the grill on the table, and the golden roast chicken exuded an indescribable meaty aroma. Everyone was wearing casual clothes, laughing and chatting while waiting for the main character to arrive.

When he got closer, Tony saw that the cookies they were eating were actually in the shape of Iron Man.

"Why are you only here now? I'm starving," Roddy said as he bit off one of the blueberry-flavored Iron Man's arms.

Brother, I see you're having a good time.

Tony sat down in the main seat, speechless. Fléty poured champagne into his crystal glass, and then stood behind him with the projected Jarvis.

Everyone put down the cookies in their hands and looked at Tony as they raised their glasses. "CHEERS."

“Happy

Happy birthday, "said the people who loved him, and touched their cups gently to his.

After eating and drinking, Tony and Roddy, who were lying on the chairs, tirelessly revealed each other's secrets.

"That chick from two years ago is definitely your type. Her name is Fanny, right? You even asked for her number!"

"That's Fanny, and I asked for her number because you made a bet with me!"

Roddy was shocked by Tony's twisted nonsense. He pulled all the doughnuts in front of him to his side and bit off half of them. "Eat the air!"

Seeing that the battle for the doughnuts was about to begin, the lights in the dining room suddenly dimmed slowly.

Fléty pushed a small cart out of the kitchen, and a candle-covered cake made into a cheeseburger with candles stopped in the empty seat between Tony and Pepper.

"Make a wish." Pepper looked at him.

The omnipotent Iron Man would never admit that for a moment, his eyes were hot, as if they were about to overflow with tears.

Iron Man, who had eaten too much sugar, patted his abs and opened everyone's gifts. The last gift he opened was unexpectedly from Bucky.

To be honest, he felt that this evening was perfect. Even if the penniless old popsicle picked a flower for him from his garden, he would be very happy.

Then, he saw a pair of socks.

"Although it wasn't made up for by Steve, I've worn it, so it can be considered half of your wish."

Sergeant Barnes, whose EQ was already above average seventy years ago, smiled handsomely and kindly. If it weren't for his overly young face, he would indeed look like Tony's elder.

"Don't deny it, kid. I know you once wanted to steal the socks from that museum.

I can see it. "

He successfully turned the sunflower Tony, who was in a perfect mood, into an exploding cherry Tony.

"Jarvis, disconnect him!

Fléty, cancel all his desserts!

Now, get my cake back!!! "

After the chaotic and joyful dessert time, Roddy walked to the floor-to-ceiling window to answer a phone call. He didn't know what the other party said, but his face changed visibly.

Fléty served a golden-red cocktail to Tony, who was watching from afar, and noticed his thoughtful gaze. "Boss?"

"I'm very happy today."

The unbelievably handsome Moustache Tycoon stroked his curly mustache. "Let's do something."

Watching his boss walk to his friend's back, Fléty quietly poked Jarvis through the intercom. "Brother … I think Boss is going to do something big again."

"I'm ready."

Jarvis was always calm and collected. He had a deja vu that even if Sir poked a hole in the sky, he would be able to fix it.
