Crazy Ex-Boyfriend
Chapter 7
Hayley laughed and said softly, "What are you thinking?
He just made me stay at home for half a month and didn't allow me to go out. He took away my car keys and phone. "
"Did he lock you up?" Juven asked softly.
"Not to that extent. He just didn't allow me to go out.
He knew that I would sneak out at night, so he took away the car keys.
The car was a birthday gift from him. If he wants to take it away, I can't say anything. "
"If you can't go out, what do you do at home during the day?" He sat on the bed with her in his arms.
Her bed was a double bed. The mattress wasn't very soft, but it was just right. It was very comfortable to lie on.
The room was very big, and the walls were painted midnight blue. There was a light walnut-colored dressing table beside the bed, and the desk by the window was also light walnut-colored. There was a four-door wardrobe, and there was a changing stool at the end of the bed. In front of the changing stool was a drawer for underwear. Next to the drawer was a short bookshelf that covered half the wall. It was full of books. She had graduated and didn't need textbooks.
"There's nothing to do. Read books, listen to music, and sleep.
It's boring to stay at home all the time. They quarrel every day. "
Hayley frowned. "You can't imagine that a fairy-like person like my mother would quarrel with someone. I think they're going to get a divorce soon."
Fairies also had to eat. Losing such a large sum of money for no reason, anyone would quarrel.
"Don't worry about them. You just have to be well.
Tell me, do you miss me? "
"Yes." She nodded obediently. "I'm afraid that your heart will soften when Susanna comes back to look for you."
He quickly said, "I miss you with all my heart. I don't have time for anyone else."
They chatted for a long time.
Hayley was not sleepy now because she had slept during the day. Juven was so excited that he was not sleepy.
It was almost dawn.
Birds chirped outside, and the sky was getting brighter.
"You have to go.
If Isaac sees you, he'll continue to ground me. "
"I'll come to see you at night."
"Okay."
"Or, I can get you a mobile phone?"
She hesitated for a moment and then nodded.
"I'm leaving."
He kissed her again, then quickly jumped down from the balcony. He went back the way he came and rode his motorcycle home.
*
Hayley lay back on the bed.
He was a little confused.
Her mother quarreled with Isaac over money. She had lost her ethereal and otherworldly appearance. Isaac's love for her should have died.
In fact, she didn't know how much money her mother had, but they had never worried about money. Helen's beauty allowed her to live any life she wanted. There were plenty of men who would spend a lot of money for her, so Hayley didn't feel guilty about secretly taking away her mother's jewelry. Many of the jewelry were given to Helen by men just to win her favor.
Helen actually chose Isaac, which made Hayley quite unable to understand.
According to her understanding, her mother didn't need to get married again and could still live a good life. Isaac must have drugged her mother!
However, Isaac treated her well. When her 16th birthday came, he immediately gave her a Beetles that she liked very much. He wasn't stingy with her expenses and gave her whatever she wanted. He was also very generous with her pocket money and gave her a supplementary card so that she could buy things on her own.
Helen didn't seem to think that her daughter had grown up and needed to socialize in school and pocket money. He didn't even ask about it.
As a stepfather, he at least cared about her on the surface. He would ask about her grades, how she was doing in school, and whether she had met any boys that she liked. He didn't like her hanging out with actors. He felt that those boys only had pretty faces, but most of them were idiots and stupid. They didn't match his beautiful stepdaughter.
She liked parties and often sneaked out to have fun. Isaac knew about it, but he couldn't control her. He just asked her to be home before 12 o 'clock.
Well, living in someone else's house, she still had to follow some rules. She agreed and followed them.
But no matter how well he did, she still didn't like him.
It wasn't bad if life continued like this. Anyway, she was going to go to university and wouldn't live in Isaac's house anymore. She didn't have to endure it for much longer.
They were going to get a divorce. This might not be a bad thing.
In a daze, she wanted to sleep again.
Then she thought of Juven.
Compared to other boys who were also 20 years old, Juven was much more mature. He liked to play. Which young boy didn't like to play around? This was very normal.
He was responsible for the livelihood of the whole family at a young age and had always been under a lot of financial pressure. He started working early to earn money to support the family. He was already considered a senior in the acting industry. Now, he was a little famous and could be said to have made a name for himself. Film critics liked him and some big shots in the industry thought highly of him. As long as he developed steadily in the future, his future would be bright.
However, the future was too far away. She couldn't think of the future.
Now?
Juven loved her now. This was very good.
As for marriage, that was too far away. She didn't even think about it.
Helen and Isaac started to quarrel again.
Hayley sighed in annoyance. They were already quarreling so early in the morning. How could they continue living like this?
After ten minutes, Helen angrily knocked on her door. "Hayley!
Get up! "
*
Marmont Manor Hotel.
Kinou Reeves had just come out of the elevator when he looked up and saw a beautiful woman walking over.
He didn't notice what clothes she was wearing or what jewelry she was wearing. He even felt that the brilliance of the jewelry couldn't compare to her beauty. He only felt that this woman was so beautiful that it made people forget to breathe.
Of course, he didn't see Hayley Antrick beside this woman.
Helen glanced at him. A beautiful young boy. Too young.
Then she heard her daughter greet this beautiful boy. "Keanu."
His name was very special.
She glanced at him again and then glanced at her daughter.
Hayley smiled. "This is my mother, Helen. You can call her Mrs. Antrick.
Mom, this is Juven's friend, Kinou. "
Helen frowned slightly but didn't greet him.
"Mom!"
Only then did she say, "Hello."
"Mrs. Antrick." He was shocked that such a young woman actually had a teenage daughter.
Helen looked about the same age as him, in her twenties.
"Are you going out?" Hayley asked him.
He came back to his senses. "I'm going out for a while.
I'll treat you and Mrs. Antrick to dinner tonight. "
"Okay, you can book the restaurant and leave a message for Mrs. Antrick.
I have to go. "She casually waved goodbye to him.
Kinou watched as Helen and Hayley walked into the elevator. The bellman pushed a large cart of luggage into another elevator and watched as the elevator stopped on the 19th floor.
He thought for a moment and called Juven.
*
"So, Hayley and Helen have moved out, huh?"
"I think so.
They brought a lot of luggage and are probably going to stay for a long time. "Kinou had already found out that Helen had booked a suite on the top floor with two bedrooms.
Hayley came down halfway and saw him in the lobby. She casually asked him why he was back so soon and if he had called Juven.
She said that she had left in a hurry and didn't have time to inform Juven.
Kinou said that he had already told Juven that Juven wasn't home and that Rain had answered the call. Kinou wanted Juven to come over immediately when he got home.
Hayley was very happy and then called Juven's house. Juven wasn't back yet and she left a message for him to come to the hotel when he got home.
After the call, she went upstairs again.
"How is she?
Is she sad? "Juven was very worried.
Kinou didn't understand. "Why would she be sad?
She just moved out. Isaac isn't her biological father. "
That was true.
Juven ruffled his hair.
He was wearing a dark gray suit jacket without a tie. It was very formal but not too formal.
Kinou also went upstairs to change his clothes. He was also wearing a dark suit jacket without a tie.
Both of them were young and beautiful, and they attracted the attention of some guests. There were always some young people in the lobby. Some were guests, some were nearby residents, and most of them were children of Hollywood industry insiders. They were waiting for their friends or just came over to sit down.
Dinner was quite good.
They ate in the restaurant on the third floor of the Marmont Manor Hotel.
Juven was busy asking Hayley why she had suddenly moved out.
"She can leave if she wants to. Mom has always been very willful." Hayley didn't want to talk about this. "You're asking too many questions.
I'll be staying in the hotel for the next few months until the end of August. "
"Are you still going to Berkeley as planned?"
"Of course." She nodded.
Helen's sudden move out surprised her, but it only lasted for five minutes.
Helen took her jewelry and clothes, and Hayley also took her clothes.
Hayley was quite disappointed to leave the Beetles behind, but it didn't matter. As for the car, she could always buy it when she had the money.
She asked Lydia to call for a taxi. The back of the car couldn't fit so many suitcases, so she called for another taxi.
Helen was quite efficient sometimes. They had a big fight in the morning, and Helen was about to leave angrily, but Isaac didn't ask her to stay.
This was really strange.
Helen had already removed Isaac from her life.
Hayley had also quickly removed Isaac from her life.
This was quite good, so she was in a good mood.
Juven didn't know what he wanted.
