My Master Breaks Through Only at the Last Moment
Chapter 1410
Chapter 1410: The Cracks on the Boundary Battlefield
"After my main body dies here, my avatar in the Holy Light Empire will wake up, but its memories will be blurry and it won’t recognize Master Xu."
"I just hope Master Xu, considering our long friendship, will still see me as a friend," the Holy Light Girl said with a tone of resignation.
"Don’t worry, we’ll always be friends," Xu Fan replied with a smile.
The two cracks in the distant sky were growing stronger, and even with all the defenses in place, War Preparation City, where Xu Fan was, was starting to struggle.
Seeing time was running out, Xu Fan pulled out all twelve top-tier Xuanhuang Supreme Treasures from the treasury.
"Let’s each take six Xuanhuang Supreme Treasures. If we get sucked into the crack, there might still be a chance for survival," Xu Fan said, his eyes fixed on the massive cracks with curiosity.
"Getting pulled in would mean certain doom. Do you see that dark green light inside the crack?"
"That’s the mark of the chaotic, undeveloped void. Even a Chaotic Great Saint wouldn’t last an hour in there."
Despite her words, the Holy Light Girl obediently took six Xuanhuang Supreme Treasures.
Boom!
An even larger crack tore open right above War Preparation City.
Before the city could react, it was swallowed whole.
Far away in the chaotic center area of the Holy Light Empire, Xu Fan suddenly shuddered.
"Good thing I reacted fast, or I’d have been done for if I got pulled in!" Xu Fan said, still shaken.
The moment the crack appeared, Xu Fan had shifted his consciousness.
Zhang Weiyun, who had been waiting outside the gate, walked in.
"Husband, something big seems to have happened in the chaotic center area. All the leader-level powerful beings have been mobilized."
"Now the core world of the Holy Light Empire is sealed off. Should we head back?" Zhang Weiyun asked.
At that moment, the massive Holy Light Star that lit up the Holy Light Empire vanished.
"Let’s return to the Three Thousand Realms. The Chaotic Mist Area isn’t safe anymore," Xu Fan said, leading everyone to break through space and teleport to the nearest base point in The Tai Xuan Hall.
Outside the Three Thousand Realms, Xu Fan stood solemnly before a massive three-dimensional map that stretched thousands of miles in every direction.
"We’re getting too close," Xu Fan sighed.
"What’s going on?"
Yuan Lord appeared beside Xu Fan.
"The boundary battlefield might collapse, and it could affect the entire Chaotic Mist Area," Xu Fan explained, sharing what he’d seen and heard from the boundary battlefield.
"After such a long stretch of peace, how can chaos be stirring again?" Yuan Lord said, sounding helpless.
This had been his most carefree and enjoyable time. He didn’t have to worry about the Three Thousand Realms’ internal affairs, and there were plenty of human race elders and chaotic saints from the Hidden Spirit Sect handling external threats.
Now, he could focus on his cultivation, and when he didn’t feel like training, he could relax or go hunting.
"Based on our current position in the Three Thousand Realms, we’re still relatively safe."
"With the two Great God or Demon Empires ahead of us, unless we’re extremely unlucky, this place shouldn’t be affected."
"But we still need to be prepared for anything," Xu Fan said, his eyes fixed on the massive three-dimensional map.
“Are you planning to set up another big teleportation formation to move the Three Thousand Realms somewhere else?” Yuan Lord asked, curious.
“That’s the idea, but this time we’ve got to take four stars along, which makes things tricky.”
Right now, Grape is using half of its computing power to figure out how to move all four stars.
“Anything I can do to help?” Yuan Lord offered.
“Not right now, but if you could, share your Yuanshi Sect’s treasury list with Grape. We might find some useful materials there.”
“Setting up such a massive teleportation formation requires millions of puppets and a huge amount of chaotic spirit ore,” Xu Fan mentioned, still looking over the map.
“Alright, the Yuanshi Sect’s next move is to focus entirely on gathering chaotic spirit ore,” Yuan Lord agreed with a nod.
Just then, a spatial wave surged near the Three Thousand Realms, a sign of large-scale teleportation.
Suddenly, ten thousand Hidden Spirit Sect Disciples emerged from the space, appearing close to Xu Fan and Yuan Lord.
As soon as they arrived, the disciples noticed Xu Fan and Yuan Lord nearby.
“Greetings, Grand Elder and Senior Yuan Lord,” they all bowed together, their faces beaming with joy.
“What’s got you all so happy?” Xu Fan asked, his mood lifting at their cheerfulness.
“Grand Elder, we’ve discovered a large vein of chaotic spirit ore in that unstable chaotic area,” the lead disciple explained excitedly.
“Only six chaotic saint-level giant beasts are guarding it. We hurried back to gather our brothers and sisters to secure the vein.”
From what they saw, securing the vein would mean each of them could get at least one or two innate supreme treasures.
“Great! Go ahead, and if you run into any trouble, just call Grape,” Xu Fan said with a smile, waving them off.
Yuan Lord watched enviously, thinking to himself, “Why are your disciples so outstanding when we’re all part of the human race?”
With over ten thousand skilled disciples, Xu Fan turned his attention back to the three-dimensional map.
“Xu the Divine Master, could you lower the teleportation fees at your Tai Xuan Hall a bit? Our disciples are finding it hard to afford them,” Yuan Lord couldn’t help but ask.
“Yuan Lord, your sect’s disciples only pay about ten percent more than mine. I’m just covering my costs here.”
“You can’t expect me to operate at a loss!” Xu Fan retorted, giving Yuan Lord a sidelong glance.
In the underground space, Xu Fan immersed his consciousness into the spirit space.
“Third Brother is gone just like that; it’s really a shame,” Avatar Number One said regretfully.
“There’s nothing we can do; the world that could handle leader-level battles has been torn apart, so Number Three couldn’t have survived.”
“It’s a pity about the Xuanhuang Supreme Treasures and all that chaotic spirit ore in Number Three’s treasury—now wasted,” Xu Fan sighed.
“What’s the situation on your end? Has your leader made any moves?” Xu Fan asked Avatar Number One.
“Our leader has left, and my major backer went with him; they’re said to be stabilizing the boundary battlefield.”
“I’ve got some top-secret news that my major backer quietly shared with me.”
“According to intel from our rivals’ chaotic land, they’ve got support from other chaotic lands, so things might get a bit shaky in our area for a while.”
“But for the Three Thousand Realms, it shouldn’t be a big issue, though we should still be prepared for anything,” Avatar Number One added.
“Wow! You’ve got access to top-secret info like that?” Xu Fan was impressed.
“Of course; I’m the future third ruler of the Beast God Demon Empire,” Avatar Number One replied with a grin.
“In the coming period, you’ll need to focus on deciphering the system. The leaders over there and my major backer are all waiting for me to advance to a primordial artifact master, so I can team up with the second primordial artifact master to craft an extraordinary Primordial Supreme Treasure.”
“Sounds good.”
