My Master Breaks Through Only at the Last Moment
Chapter 1411
Chapter 1411: Can’t We Just Quietly Go Down Together?
In the spirit space, Xu Fan stared at the system runic sphere, which was slowly degrading.
“Grape, help me find a time turbulence zone based on the Chaotic Mist Area, where the area characteristics can distort the chaotic River of Time,” Xu Fan said after a moment’s thought.
He had originally planned to lay low for a million years, letting the system naturally crack itself.
But now, that wasn’t an option. Chaos was likely to erupt soon in the Chaotic Mist Area, and if he didn’t grow stronger, he and the Three Thousand Realms would probably end up as cannon fodder.
If a battle of that scale broke out in the chaotic power, once he sensed the fluctuations of battle, there’d be no chance of escape.
“There are three areas that meet your requirements, Master: the Abyssal Cave, the Sea of Chaos, and the Void Shattered Domain.”
Xu Fan frowned at the mention of these three names.
“Is there anywhere I can actually survive?”
“The dangers in these three places are almost on par with the Primordial Chaos Zone.”
“There’s also the chaotic unstable area, which is closest to the sect. However, deep within this area, there are multiple Chaotic Great Saint-level giant beasts roaming,” Grape added.
“Let’s check out the chaotic unstable area first. If that doesn’t work, we’ll just have to tough it out,” Xu Fan decided after some thought.
At the Tai Xuan Hall of the sect branch, Xu Fan stepped onto the teleportation formation, surrounded by watching disciples.
In the chaotic unstable area, a massive artificial continent floated just outside the zone.
This land had been built by Grape as a resting spot for disciples entering and leaving the area.
The number of disciples on this continent was second only to the main sect and branch sect.
“Greetings, Grand Elder!” the disciples on the continent exclaimed with excitement.
“Carry on with your duties. I’m heading into the depths of this area,” Xu Fan said, waving off their formalities.
“Grand Elder, if you’re going into the depths, be careful around these spots.” The disciple who spoke then shared a map of the deeper region with Grape.
“You’ve got some guts! Aren’t you worried those Chaotic Great Saint-level giant beasts you detected might take an interest in you?” Xu Fan said with a chuckle.
“Don’t worry, Grand Elder. Even the Chaos Great Path Laws have started ignoring me, so those chaotic giant beasts won’t notice me,” the disciple replied cheerfully.
“Good thinking.”
With that, Xu Fan stepped into the chaotic unstable area, his figure quickly disappearing.
“This really is the chaotic unstable area. Even the time laws are twisting here,” Xu Fan observed, feeling the distorted Chaos Great Path Laws around him.
Hidden from view, Xu Fan looked at the groups of chaotic giant beasts nearby and couldn’t help but think this was a treasure location.
This chaotic unstable area had been discovered through the Tai Xuan Hall.
Later, Xu Fan realized that even the Heavenly Merchant Clan had no records of this place.
As he ventured deeper, the number of chaotic saint-level giant beasts began to increase.
At the same time, the Chaos Great Path Laws around him started to fade into nothingness.
“Grape, do you think it’s possible that the core of this area is a Primordial Chaos Zone?” Xu Fan asked.
“Based on current analysis, there’s a forty percent chance.”
“Also, Master, you can release the detection puppets now. The deeper we go into the chaotic River of Time, the more distorted it becomes,” Grape reminded.
Xu Fan waved his hand, and a massive glowing portal appeared. Teams of specially modified detection puppets emerged from the portal, spreading out in all directions.
As soon as the detection puppets entered the Primordial Chaos Zone, their bodies turned translucent, allowing them to blend in and remain hidden from the chaotic giant beasts.
“Troubled times indeed,” Xu Fan sighed.
He felt like he hadn’t enjoyed peace for long before their environment was about to be disrupted again.
While waiting for the exploration results, a faint sensation stirred within Xu Fan’s divine soul.
His expression shifted from confusion to shock.
“Number Three is alive?”
When Number Three had been sucked into the rift, Xu Fan had lost all contact with him.
He hadn’t expected to sense Number Three’s presence here, even if it was faint and barely perceptible.
As Xu Fan considered transferring his consciousness to Avatar Number Three, he hesitated.
He feared that if he moved his consciousness to Avatar Number Three, he might become trapped and unable to return.
In the midst of his hesitation, Xu Fan detected a weak aura near Avatar Number Three.
It was the Holy Light Girl, who had fought alongside him on the boundary battlefield for many years.
“Should I go take a look? I could transfer half of my consciousness. Even if it gets damaged, I wouldn’t be completely lost,” Xu Fan muttered, still unsure.
At that moment, a distress signal came from Avatar Number Three.
Without hesitation, Xu Fan split off half of his consciousness and transferred it to Number Three.
In an instant, Xu Fan felt as though half of his consciousness had endured countless chaotic epochs.
It was as if he had witnessed the birth and growth of a Chaotic Mist Area firsthand—time stretched endlessly.
After what felt like an eternity, half of his consciousness finally settled into Avatar Number Three.
“Master Xu, has your main consciousness returned?”
“What do we do now? If the Primordial Chaos Zone spreads further, we’re truly doomed,” the Holy Light Girl said, her voice tinged with frustration.
At that moment, a glimmer of life returned to Avatar Number Three’s eyes.
“What is this place?” A voice, weathered and ancient, echoed.
Xu Fan was startled by the sound of his own voice.
“Master Xu, after War Preparation City was sucked in, it was crushed by the Primordial Chaos Zone.”
“Just as we were about to be obliterated, you triggered the self-destruction of all our Xuanhuang Supreme Treasures, creating a protective shell like an eggshell.”
“But now, this shell is shrinking. Are we really going to die?” the Holy Light Girl asked, clinging to a sliver of hope.
“Theoretically, yes, we should be finished,” Xu Fan replied calmly, observing the shrinking eggshell.
“What’s the point? It would’ve been better to die right away. To have hope only to lose it again—who can endure such torment?” The Holy Light Girl lamented, her voice heavy with despair.
“Did I say we were definitely doomed?” Xu Fan replied, as the Chaotic Myriad Paths Disk materialized behind him.
“Worlds can be born from chaos. In this Primordial Chaos Zone, we can use the chaos to our advantage.”
Xu Fan slowly raised his left hand, and a substance drawn from the surrounding Unrefined Chaotic Area began to transform into chaos.
“Master Xu, does this mean we might be saved?!”
Hope flickered in the Holy Light Girl’s eyes.
“Not necessarily. It depends on the speed at which we can convert the surrounding Unrefined Chaotic Area into chaos. If it’s not fast enough, we’ll still perish,” Xu Fan said, a faint smile in his voice.
The Holy Light Girl’s hope deflated once more.
“Ah, Master Xu, this is no time for jokes. Let’s just accept our fate quietly.”
